Delete your data

You can ask us to delete the personal data associated with your smaartcoach account at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.

Option 1: from the WhatsApp chat (fastest)

In your chat with smaartcoach, open the menu (send menu) and choose Opt out. We’ll ask one quick question, then erase your data.

You can also simply send a message such as:

delete my data  Â·  opt out

This works in your language too (for example “eliminar mis datos”, “excluir meus dados”, “supprimer mes donnĂ©es”, “meine Daten löschen”). This is the quickest way because it verifies the request comes from your own WhatsApp number.

Option 2: by email

Email privacy@smaartcoach.com from any address with the subject “Delete my data”, and include the WhatsApp phone number linked to your account so we can locate and verify it. We may ask you to confirm the request from that WhatsApp number to protect your account.

What gets deleted

Food photos are never stored on our servers, and original voice notes are not retained, so there is nothing for us to delete in those cases.

What we may keep

We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it, for example billing and tax records related to past payments (handled by our payment processor), and minimal records needed to handle disputes or prevent abuse. These are kept only as long as required and then deleted.

Deleting your smaartcoach data does not delete the chat history stored on your own phone. You can clear that in WhatsApp.

Timeline

We action verified deletion requests promptly and complete them within 30 days. We’ll confirm once it’s done.
